C., Dec. 16.—Miss Alma Lutz of Jamestown, Nosth Da- ; kota, was elected a membet of the National Council of the National Weman's Party and chairman of its organization committee, at the Na- tional convention of the party which has been in session in Washington during the past week. During the convention, Miss Lutz went with other delegates of the Woman's party to President Hoover to ask that he appoint plenipoten- Uaries to the conference on codifica- tion of international law who will work for the adoption of an equal na- tionality agreement between nations in which there shall be no distinction based on sex. This conference is to be held at The Hague next March.
