Pioneer Railroad Man Of Dickinson Succumbs (Tribune Special Service) Special Dickinson, N. D., Oct. 4.—James C. Flynn, 75, a pioneer who came to Ne jorth Dakota in the spring of 1877 ‘ from Melrose, Minn., died at his home here Wednesday, after an illness starting with influenza last March. Flynn freighted between Mandan and Bismarck and the Black Hills in the early ‘80s. He returned to Breck- Minn., in 1889, and did rail- road construction work, with head- quarters there, until 1898. Since 1898 he had lived here, and was retired with pension at the age as wrecking foreman with the Pacific here.
