Six carloads of cattle and one of hogs were shipped to St. Paul from Braddock Saturday morning. Mr. Wil- helm, cattle buyer, shipped two, Sucltz and Engleman two, and the Braddock Shipping Association two of cattle and one of hogs. Cattle at this time ere bringing a good price and many of the farmers in this locality arc having to dispose of them on account of the shortage of feed. There’ was a severe frost Tuesday night which nipped the vines, late po- tatoes, flax and corn. The greatest logs is felt in the corn as there were many good fields of it, and the farm- crs were depending on it for this win- ter's supply of feed. Some of the farmers have cut theirs and in this way are taking care of it while oth- crs have so much work on thelr hands taking care of their other harvest that they have to letjt stand. Mrs. M.
