McKinnon and Mrs. G. McLaughlin were joint hostesses when the Mothers’ Service club held its third annual guest meet- ing last evening at the home of Mrs. McKinnon. The affair took the form of a bridge supper. Red carnations were used for the tables, with appoint- ments in harmonizing colors. A two course supper was served. Afterwards, bridge provided the pastime, seven tables being in play. A guest prize was presented Mrs. L. H. Richmond, and Mrs. E. M. Hendricks received the high score prize. Guests from out of the city were Mrs. T. L. McGarry, Aberdeen; Mrs. F. W. Renner, Minneapolis; and Mrs. Paul Shannon, Mandan. ses * Miss Blanche Houser Honored at Dinner Complimentary to Miss Blanche Houser, who will be a bride of next month, a 6:30 dinner was given Mon- day evening at the home of Miss Josic Grinde. Hostesses were the Misses Josie Grinde, Jeanette Myhre, Esther Teichman and Lucile Malmquist. An attractive color scheme of laven- der and yellow was carried out throughout the dinner, with lavender sweet peas and yellow tapers as a centerpiece. Places were marked for 12.
