M. Brandt at the meeting of the Monday club yesterday afternoon in the home ot Mrs. H. 8. Dobler. Mrs. Brandt's paper dealt with the religion. the health problems of the People, and she deccribed the caste systein. Margaret Wilson’s “Daughters of India” was reviewed by Mrs. B. E. Jones, and a general discussion of the topics followed. xk * Vanishing Party Score Prizes Are Presented Prizes for high score in the series of vanishing parties held during the winter were awarded Mrs, L. The program will be followed by a social hour. * * * Women’s Club Study Operas by Wagner Papers on two of Wagner's operas, “Lohengrin” and “Parsifal,” were pre- sented by Mrs. J. H. Hoskins and Mrs. A, C. Wilkinson, respectively, at the meeting of the Women's club yes- terday afternoon at the home of Mrs. L. V. Miller. Roll call was responded to by nam- ing a favorite opera. Mrs. Hoskins gave the story of “Lohengrin,” using records to illus- |‘ trate some of the scenes.
