Hoskins, and Mr. Hoskins’ sister and brother- in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. J. D. Keith, of Fayetteville, Tenn., as Y their guests for over Thanksgiving. Misses Maude Schroeder and Grace Hand will motor to Valley City for the week-end. Miss Clara Roestad of the Rich- holt school will go to Kindred, and Miss Arvida Seter will go to Carson for the day. Miss Huber Tells of Alaskan Trip _ “Alaska isione of the most de- lightful spots to spend a summer vacation,” said Miss Mary Huber in her talk on Alaska at the meeting of the Business and Professional Wom- en’s club last evening, _Miss Huber, in a with Miss Rita Murphy, visit ‘Alaska last summer. Miss Huber described her trip of over 1800 miles through the interior, which was made by it and train and told many interesting facts con- cerning the industries and history of. the country she visited. Her trip took her on what is known as the circle tour of Alaska, which includes a visit to Fort Yukon inside the arc- tic circle. A number of souvenirs and pic- tures collected in Alaska were shown by Miss Huber. The evening’s program included a group of Indian songs by Miss Rena White of the Indian school staff, and Miss Alice Slater, accompani Mrs. Hermann Scheffer.
