Miss Florence Agre acted as toastmistress, calling for toasts upon the theme, “The Ideal Sunday School Class.” Esther Agre, Esther and Alta Bremer, William Lingen- felder and Christ Delzer responded with short talks. Mrs. John Bowcrs and Mrs. John Delzer were in charge of the ban- quet. The guests were entertained at a social evening. a Telephone Operators Entertain Mothers at Informal Reception Telephone operator: at the local Northwestern Bell Telephone office were hostesses to their mothers Wednesday afternoon fram 3 to 5 o'clock at an informal _ reception. Miss Anastasia Skelly, chief opera- tor, received the quests, A short program, including a talk by F. H. Waldo, manager of the local company, was given in the company rest room. Following the program the guests were escorted through the new building. Refresh- ments were served during the aft- ernoon. About 25 guests attendcd the re- ception, Miss Madge King Hostess at Cards Miss Madge King entertained at bridge Wednesday evening at her home. There were guests for four tables. Miss Eunice Cain and Mrs. Elmer Boepple won high scores in the eve- ning’s games, after which a course luncheon was served. Miss King used cherry blossoms to decorate the rooms and tables. oe 8 W. S.
