Roy Gordon early today, two sugpects had been arrested and one had in- criminated the other, according to police, The men in jail are Samuel Guar dule, 27, and Anthony Parish, 25. Parish said he was with Guardule early this morning when the latter took a package to the mayor’s house, Guardule denied he had a pacl No one was injured in the exp! sion, though Mr. and Mra. Gordon and three children were in the house. Damage was estimated at $1,500. The blast wrecked the front of the house, rocked nearby buildings and broke glass a half mile away. The mayor ad received a telephone call a few minutes before, warning ‘him his house was about to be blown up. After the blast, the mayor’s home was called on the telephone five times, each time a man’s voice ask- ing: “Well, what do you think of it now?” Mayor Gordon was elected last fall after a bitter campaign, marked by charges of fraud which led to a state investigation.
