Miss Cable is visiting Bis- marck through arrangements made by Miss Bertha Palmer. Annual Dinner Is Held Wednesday For the Chancellors The Chancellors, men’s social or- ganization of the North Dakota Ed- ucation association, held their an- nual frolic Wednesday evening at the Grand Pacific hotel. LUNCHEON—Toasted _ combina-| tion sandwich, sliced peaches, crisp cookies, cocoa, DINNER—Pork roast with sweet’ potatoes, apple sauce, lima beans in cream, tomato and pineapple salad, grape sherbert, milk, coffee. Sweet potatoes are delicious roast- ed with york. Pare them and put them into the roaster with the meat about an hour before the roast is done. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper and baste with the drip- Pings in the pan. sas Toasted Combination Sandwich + Cut bread 1-2 inch thick. Allow 2 slices of tacon, 2 slices of tomato, 2 thin slices of full cream cheese, 2 crisp lettuce-leaves and a spoon- ful of mayonnaise for each sand- wich. Broil bacon two minutes. Pare and cut tomatoes in slices 1-3 inch thick. On half the slices of bread put first the partially cooked bacon, then the tomatoes and cover the tomatoes with cheese.
