D., Sept. 23.— With the idea in mind of having one of the finest, if not the finest park in the state, the New Rockford park board has this year done a great umount of work on its municipal park system. Trees and shrubbery which were planted this spring are doing nicely and add a great deal to the beauty of the plot. The plart- ings include American and Chinese elm, box elders, green ash, weeping birch, white birch, black walnut, weeping willow, soft maple, Black Hills spruce, Colorado green and blue spruce, Douglas pine and Pon- derosa pine, in addition to practical- ly every known shrub that can be successfully grown in that section.
