Receipts Chica change Eggs cases, | GRAIN REVIEW | Minneapolis, Dee. 11.--)—Grain markets showed little activity during the week, with wheat finishing lower but the coarse grains holding steady, says the weekly statement issued to- day by the United States department of agriculture. Wheat was mostly slow and quiet and toward the close prices were somewhat depressed owing to more favorable Argentine news, unimport- ant export demand, lack of force to the domestic cash demand and gener- ally narrow trading interest. The cash market was quiet. De- mand was scattered and even the light offerings met with little competition. Cash durum continued to gain strength and premiums were again advanced. Corn, although subjected to some profit taking in the pit, remained steady, Oats were firm and showed inde- pendent strength. December deliver- ies were well absorbed. May oats advanced % cent, closing at 46%. Barley was quiet but firm. Cash offerings were even smaller tham last week and demand was good.
