SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 1926 _ North Dakota Girl Stars in Play at New York Theatre Miss Dorothy Stickney, formerly: of Dickinson, now of New York city, is staring in an immensely popular play, “The Squall” at the Forty- eighth street theatre, New York city, according to word received by Mrs, C.D. Dursema, a former classmate of Miss Stickney at Stanley Hall. Miss Stickney began her stage career six years ago when_she play- ed on the Keith circu. Twa years later she became understudy to Miss June Walker in “The Nervous Wreck” and “Processional.” She is the daugh- ter of Dr. V. H. Stickney, formerly of Bismarck, now of Dickinson, and a sister of Mrs. A. P. Nachtway of Dickinson, ACCEPTS POSITION HERE. Miss Ruth Tipper of Mandan has accepted a position with the McKen- zie beauty shoppe. Miss Tipper was formerly employed in Bismarck and will welcome h@ old customers.
