— ee ‘ ‘ THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER: 3, 1925 Social and Personal Wetmore-Pederson Wedding Yesterday Miss Elizabeth Wetmore, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. D, Wet- more, was united in marriage to Mr. Christian A. Pederson of Man- dan Wednesday evening at 4:30) o'clock in the study of the Baptist church, Rev. A. A. Holmes, pastor,| officiating at the simple ceremony. | The bride was gowned in pencil blue satin with matching accessories. | She was attended by her two sisters, | Ruth and Julia, and two college friends, Miss Kathleen E. Hely of St. Thomas and Miss Maud Mary Dickinson of Minnewauken. The couple left last night for al wedding trip in Minnesota, the Great Lakes, Buffalo and Washington. Their’ first stop, however, will be made at Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where: Mrs. Pederson graduated from High school. They will be at home after October 1 in Mandan. Mrs. Pederson attended the grade schools in Bismarck, High school in| Ohio, and attended the University of North Dakota last year. For three years she was employed by the} National Parks Highway in Bismarck. ' Mr. Pederson is an engineer for the Northern Pacific with neadquar- ters in Mandan. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Pederson, pioneer residents of Mandan. He is a mem- ber of the American Legion, serving over-seas fourteen months. Following the ceremony an infor- mal buffet supper was served to the wedding party and the families of the bride and idegro: MARRIE TERDAY Mrs. Nellie B. Lonie and Henry W. Schmitt, Mandan, were united in marriage Wednesday morning at the Presbyterian manse in Bismarck Rev. Paul S. Wright officiated. Mr, and M Schmitt left immediately after the ceremony for a honeymoon to var- ious points in the eastern part of| the state. They will be at home in Mandan in about two weeks.’ IN NEW HOME Dr. and Mrs. H. T. Perry moved to their new home, 116 Avenue B, which they purchased recently from Dr. A. M. Fisher. Dr, and Mrs. Fisher and children are at home in the Rose apartments for the present, They will leave soon for California to re- side.
