When you “step on it’ the Chrysler shoots from 5 to 50 miles an hour in less than 19 seconds. In its speed range from 2 to 70 miles an hour there is no “vibration point”. At all speeds and under all conditions it is remarkably easy to handle. One of the reasons for this is because it has pivotal steering, with ball thrust bearings on the king pins. Special design six-ply, high-speed balloon tires are standard. The Touring, $1395 The Phaeton, $1495 The Roadster, 1625 The Sedan, 1725 The Brougham, 1895 The Imperial, All prices f. 0. b. No one engineering feature among the score or more responsible for results never before achieved can be justly emphasized as the real secret of such revolutionary achievements. Like the crankshaft, whose seven bearings, in- stead of the usual three or five, prevent destructive and costly engine vibration, there are a dozen features that effect unusual economies. Still others, like the low center of © gravity, the perfect weight distribution, the new practice of spring suspension and the Chrysler-Lockheed hydraulic four-wheel brakes, have much to do with the car’s superiority in riding comfort, roadability, steering ease and safety. But the best way to understand these thingsistoridein anddrivethecar. We are pleased to extend the con-. venience of time-payments. Ask about Chrysler’s attractive plan. The Willys-Knight is a revelation to motorists. It gives them a new con- ception of riding ease, a velvet smoothness of operation that surprises and delights. Much was expected of thecar. The ten years it has been in production have been years of pro- gressive leadership. It conquered noise with its quiet, sleeve-valve engine,—it conquered engine deterioration, conquered carbon and valve trouble, conquered the problems of lubrica- tion, clutch, steering and every detail of mechani- cal construction. It seemed to approach the pinnacle of possibility. - But Willys-Knight still advances. This year it taps: its record with an- other triumph—it solves the universal problem of engine vibration. The Lanchester Balancer, which eliminates vibra- tion, introduces the car owner to a new comfort, to a higher pleasure in driving. The Willys-Knight with Lanchester Balancer awaits your inspection.
