Splendid Masical Program Rendered at Reception The tea given yesterday afternoon in the dining room of the McKenzie hotel, in honor of the visiting ladies who accompinied ‘the Rotarians to the city. was a most successful social event of the Ninth district confer- ence. A splendid attendance was Present for the musical program which had been arranged, Each number on the program was most splendidly rendered and each soloist tesponded with an cncore The Dickinson and Bismarck high school ofchestras furnished splendid selections during the tea. The name of Mrs. S. E. Bergeson was inad- vertently omitted from the list of names in the receiving line, on the reception committee. Elks Hosts At ; House Warming Party Because of the size of the crowd, the Elks found it necessary to hold their heuse watming party which was given Mst evening, at Patterson's Hall. Music was-furnished by the newly organized Elks’. eight _ piece orchestra, free of charge which was greatly. appreciated and did much to make the party so. successful. At 1 o'clock the drawing for the piano, which was to I given awa took place, Miss Mary Lou Thomp- son drew 11 numbers, the eleventh ‘heing the lucky one and was held by John L, Larson, Jr. who was present during the drawing.
