WEDNESDAY, MAY 16, 1923 MARKET NEWS RAINS FALL IN WEST AND DEPRESS PRICE Wheat Weaker in Tone on Trading Early Today on Chicago Board Chicago, May 16.— With general ov the winter crop belt ample supply of moisture sometime to come, wheat un- moderate declines early today. Spring crop conditions, too, were regarded as favorable, most of the seeding having been done. Trade was light and consist- ed more or less of simultaneous buying of May and selling of July. The opening, which ranged from \% to 5 cents lower with July $1147 to $1.15 and.
