J. La Rose, {who sang some of the beautiul Christ-! mas songs, “Silent Night,” “Adeste Fideles,” and other selections under j the windows of their homes. This old custom of singing on Christmas eve is one about which much has been written in literature and many beau- tiful stories told. Those who heard the singing asserted that, it will al- ways remain one of their happiest memories of Christmas. NURSES ON VACATION.
