The district secretary, Mrs. Meyer, read the minutes of the dis- trict meeting \held in Jamestown and Mrs. Lyman Carey of Mandan, state president of the Federation of Wo- men’s clubs made an excellent ad- dress, emphasizing the three general aims of federation work for the eom- ing year: Education, Child Welfare, and Public. Health. The speaker ex- plained the hope of the new Chillren’s Code Commission, created ‘by the last legislative session in effecting a sur- vey of conditions among the children of North Dakota with a view to bet- tering those conditions. © = - Departments Reviewed.
