! THURSDAY, OCT, 21, 1920. BISMARCK DAILY TRIBUNE FAMOUS WELSH CHORUS COMES TO CITY OCT. 30 To Appear! at Auditorium in Benefit Concert for the Pub- lic Library The famous Mountain Ash male chorus will come to Bismarck on Oct. 30, appearing at the Auditorium. The chorus is to appear in a benefit for the public library, coming under the auspices of a group of citizens inter- ested in the lMbrary. The fame of Welsh Choral singing bec#me world-wide when in the year 1872 a mixed choir constituting Welsh village—folk, under the leadereship of Caradog (Griffith Rys Jones), won the Crystal Palace Company's $5,500.00 challenge trophy, and a cash prize of $500.00. This fame was enhanced in the fol- lowing year, when the same choir, un- der the same leader again won the trophy beating the London choir, known then, as the “Paris Prize” choir under the leadership of Mr. Proudman. The sons and daughters (especially the sons) of the Princi- pality have ever since maintained the fame then won, and have enhanced the standard set and established by the “Crystal Palace” victories. Americans were first thrilled by these remarkable singers (from the land of song), as early as 1893, when at the World’s Fair, Chicago, they won first prize, in a competition open to the world. Inquiry develops the information that in hair care they find it dangerous to sham- poo with any makeshift hair cleanser. The majority say that to have the best hair wash and scalp stimulator at a cost of about three. cents, one need only get a package of canthrox from your druggist; dissolve a tea- spoonful in a cup of hot water and your shampoo is ready. This makes enough shampoo liquid to apply it to all the hair instead of just the top of the head. After its use the hair dries rapidly, with uniform color. Dan- druff, excess oil and dirt are quickly dissolved and entirely disappear when you rinse the hair. After this your hair will be so fluffy it will look much heavier than it is. Its luster and softness will delight you, while the stimulated scalp gains the health which” instires hair growth. eT | CITY NEWS | Ye McClusky Visitor. Mr. J.
