Launderers and Dry Cleaners 311 Front St. Every person realizes the business advantage and the social value of clothes well cleaned and neatly pressed, but there is more in these details than improvement of “looks” alone. Ask your tailor or your clothier . They will inform you that apparel frequently pressed, and cleaned at intervals of two or three months, ; will wear from 25 to 50 per cent longer than cloth not so considerately cared for. There is a sound reason for this. You wash your linen when it becomes soiled—it is a matter of self-respect and personal hygiene, of course, but it is also true that if left unwashed, your shirts would wear out much more quickl) _ Perspiration, oils, grease, and fruit juices have a corro- ive effect; dust and dirt have a grinding action—your out- r clothing needs purging of these equally as much as doe: your linen. A The cleansing gasoline baths used in our dry cleaning process, and the pressing of the presser, with hot steam working through the fabric, have a sterilizing action—your apparel is made, by our scientific treatment of each gar- ment, as immaculate outside as inside, it keeps its shape better, and is saved from tell-tale shininess. Quality Goes Clear Through TOURING CAR You will note among Dort owners everywhere a strong regard for their car. When they speak of it they use terms that could only be inspired by sin- cere satisfaction. ; In every phase of motor service the Dort does perform in a manner dis- tinctly above the average. Its mileage per gallon of gasoline, per quart of oil, per set of tires, is noticeably higher than usual. Its construction is so simple that need for “going over” is infrequent. It is so accessible that when there does come necessity for adjustment or “tuning up” it is a simple task per- formed with ease and economy. Touring Car Roadster F. 0. B.
