This will consist of a boxing tournament interspersed by community singing. The committee in charge were very fortunate in securing the services of the World’s Middle-weight Champion Boxer---Mich- ael J. Gibbons and his Brother Tom. This is the same pair that drew $10,000 for a four-round exhibition bout in California recently. Many of the boys will, no doubt, remember Mike Gibbons in his capacity as director of athletics at Camp Dodge during the war--and his brother, Tom, who acted in a similar capacity at an eastern cantonment. This pair of boxers have spent a great déal of thei¥time in giving exhibition matches at various K. of c. Huts in the U.S. cantonments. This will be the Gibbons Brothers’ first ap pearance in this part of the Northwest and their coming is looked upon by all lovers of the manly art as the biggest attraction ever pulled off aan at or Near.Mandan The main attraction will be preceded by some fast preliminary bouts that will whet the appetites of the fans for the main event., A splendid array of eastern talent has been arranged for for the curtain raiser.
