Country ~The annual reunion and banquet of . banquet this the Bismarck high school alumni, the banquet this year to be reduced to the form of a Hooverized “war. luncheon,” willbe held in’ the Eismarck high school assembly room Friday evening. Every alumnus who can possibly reach Bismarck for this event is urged to attend. An-entertaining: program has been provided, and the evening will be devoted to getting together and re- calling old times. The occasion: will be one of unusual significance:this year because of the large number of alumni, almost a halt hundred, whose chairs will-be vacant ‘because they are away, on their coun- try’s business, * A large proportion of them are in France, and. the’ reunion | will be especially consecrated to their success in the glorious mission upon} which they are embarked. | ‘Supt. E. Lenhart’s Fairview stock farm last night. The whole country side turned out for the event, and a dozen or more cars drove out from Bismarck. The floor was in fine shape, and the Bismarck jazz or- chestra furnished some unusually acquainted and had a good time. The festivities ended at 3 o'clock | this morning, enabling capital city people to get home in time to say good-morn- ing to the rising sun.
