Blaine Lambert and two stu- dents from Hamline university left the latter part of last week in a mis- sion car to tour Northern Minnesota in the interests of the centenary. They will give stereopticon lectures at the different places. During Rev. Lambert’s absence his charges at Nebish and Puposky are being filled by Rev. George H. Keeler. Miss Nelson was a student at the State Teachers college in Bemidji during the past year. C. C. Sylvester, formerly .a mem- ber of the Bemidji high school fac- ulty, has returned to Bemidji for the summer at least, and contemplates remaining here permanently. ~At the present time he is employed by C. A. Peterson of Northome as Nash auto salesman. He will make his head: quarters in Bemidji. J. M. Barnett returned to his home at Lake Plantaganet Tuesday evening after spending a few days as the guest of friends and relatives in Be- midji. While here he superintended theé painting of his residence at 1008 Mississippi avenue, and attended to other business matters.
