Warford of Be- midji- read the service, the single ring ceremony beini used. To the trains of Lohengrin’s wed- ding march, played by the groom’s sister, Mrs. J. G.:Rice, the party took their places. They were attended by Miss Naomi Blakeley, sister of the bride, and Eli Ritchie, brother of the groom. The bride was gown- ed in white organdie and carried a shower beuquet of roses and lilies of the ‘valley. The bridesmaid wore a gown of apricot colored organdie, Following the service, the hridal party received the congratulations of the guests, -after which they wére served a three-course luncheon. MYSTERIOUS STRANGER SHOOTS MAN NEAR HCME (By United Press) Minneaolis, May 18—Pointed out by his wife, William Allen was shot and kilied by a mysterious stranger near his home last night. Allen, a trucking contractor, fell unconscious at hiz wife’s feet on the doorsteps and died within a short time, No motive for the murder is known. The man who fired the shot ran to a waiting automobile and es- caped. Allen and his wife had been at the home of R. 8. Allen, a broth- er, and were walking home, Mrs, Allen walking ahead, Mr. Allen stop- ping to talk to his brother. When reaching home a man, approached ther and demanded to know the ad- idress and wanted to know if Allen lived there. “There he is coming down the street,’”” Mrs, Allen replied, point- ing to her hushand.
