An execllent dinner was served, fol- lowed by a sale of the articles, after which a home talent play was given, entitled “Cora’s Callers.” Mr. Baney, Ruel and Cleon Smith, Uda Smith, Gay Mahongy and Hazel Mahoney represented the characters in it. The Up and Go class held their regular Bible study meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Smith Friday night. At present they are studying a chapter also learning to say the books of the old testament in order also to spell their names cor- rectly. Gay Mahoney got 100 per cent at the meeting for naming them in order 'and speélling them correctly after the meeting. President Clarence Baney delivered the new class rings to each of the girls. They are very pretty and each bears the initials “U & G Henry Sawyer has his sawmill up and 'working in fine shape. He sawed out lumber enough to build & house also two loads for J. F. Mahoney, then stepped to build a small house for Mr. Sawyer and family. He also expects to saw shingles. We are glad to welcome hom among us with his industry.
