Not only is Captain Harris an ace, but he is a double ace, with twelve Boche planes to his credit, nine of which are official, and is the wearer of the Victoria Cross, the Croix de Guerre, the Legion of Honor, and Distinguished Service Medal. Captain Harris was one of the first American airmen to be sent across as a result of his training §s a testing pilot for the Curtis plant. For nearly a year he was with the British ropal air force and was a member of the Sec- ond French Escadrille before being attached to an American unit. He served with the Ninety-sixth squad- ron. Captain_Harris is to speak at the regular meeting of the Kiwanis club tomorrow noon. George' Fredenburg returned to home at. Shevlin Saturday after visit- ing at the home of his cousin, W. R.
