Wholesome thrills that will cause Boy Scouts and Camp Fire Girlg to sit up and take notice are sprinkled ‘generously through every reel, while-the acting of the wild wolf-dog that is reformed into a gen- uine hero is-so realistic as to give to the screef performance of man’s faithful friend a new place in drama- tlc cast. . ; There lis a reep moral lesson in the story, which, while not a preachment still shows the efficacy of prayer, the great, reward for undying fajth, and the glorious compensation for genu- ine love. y “GET YOUR MAN” AT FHE REX THEATER SATURDAY Buck Jones will come fa the Rex theater Saturday in “Get Your Man,” his latest vekjcle made for William Fox and said to be a typical Fgx en- itertajament. @ . Thd story is by Alan Sullivan. It is an intensely dramatic tale. It opens with: Jock ~MacTier (Buak | Jones) as the foreman of a Scotch mine. Jock, disappointed in a love affair and wishing to forget his mis- ery, quits Scotland, and is next seen in_the Canadian Northwest, where he becomes a member of the Royal Mounted Police. It is while serving in this capacity that Jock again en- counters hig former rival in love--- who_pow is al fugitive defaulted and wife deserter. The pursuit by Jock, as an officer, of the man who is a hunted thief, and their joint pursuit of a fair daughter of the great northwest pro- vide ample opportuniity for intense situatfon and fine acting. The re- sult is declaréd to be an eminently satisfying performanse of a drama distinctly different from any in which this Fox star heretofore has appear- ed. The photography, especially in the scenes of the great morthwest, is reported ta be exceedingly striking and beautiful. “SCRAMBLED WIVES” AT REX THEATER TODAY AND FRIDAY A remarkable cast was assembled by Director E. H. Griffith to assist Marguerite Clark fin her initial in- dependent production, ‘*‘Sdrambled Wiives,” which will be the screen at- traction at the Rex theater, com- mendgng today. There are at least appeared as stars in their own right, and nearly every actor and actress has had important roles on the screen or on the state. Alice Mann has been a featured player in such popu- lar screen comedies ay “Fatty as Co-| ney Island” with Roscoe Arbuckle. | Other parts are in the hands of America Chiddester, Frank Badgley, John Mayer, John Washburn, Thos. A. Braidon, Harry Fisher, Wesley Jenkins, Ada Neville and Emma wn-\ €ox. “QUT OF THE CHORUS” SHOWING LAST TIMES---GRAND THEATER Some of the theatrical scenes in “Out of the Chorus,” Alice Brady's! newest Realart picture showing for| the last time tonight at the Grand| theater, were filmed at the Playhouse, %n New' York, where Miss Brady is appearing this season ih a stage play _entitled “Anna Ascends.”” “Isn’t this| theater instead of having a set built| in the.studio!” gushed an (inexperi-| enced little extra.girl, who was acting in a film for the third time. “Well, maybe it .dage, fascinate her™ erm-| mente@ Miss Brady, who had dvers heard the' remark. “mut tnis o] stage entrance (13 no novelty in. my| life, I've appeared on this stage more than a thougand times and 1 think I could \come from my car to my dressing room blindfolded, I! know it all so well.” | Vernon Steel, who plays opposite| Alice Brady in her litest picture,} {‘oat of the Chorus,” appeared on the Btage with Ethel Barrymove in ‘“‘De- _fassed” last year.
