After a long run in New York and a tour of the country it was revived with equal success. It is one of the big achieve- ments in thé brilliant career of Bth- e} Barrymore. The film version of the play as directed by Mrs. Sidney Drew is even better. ~Alice Joyce makes an ideal Kate Curtis and has an entirely new role. Much of the “off stage” action of the stage pre- pentation has been filmed, and fur- mishes opportunity for new business of a sort never seen on the screen. “Cousin Kate” will be screened at the Elko theater tonight, also Wednes- day, matinee and evening. “THE FREEZE-QUT”—HARRY CAREY. The story of ‘“The Miracle Man'" centers around an old patriarch of ‘the hills who has gained a reputa- tion for his power to heal the sick and crippled. To him comes a band of unscrupulous crooks—who have ney for themselves. ‘What follows is one of the most absorbing stories ever unfolded on the screen. In the hands of such tal- ented players»as Thomas Meighan, Eleanor Fair! Betty Compson, Lon Chaney, and.W. CLEVER COUPLE TO' APPEAR AT GRAND THEATER FRIDAY Prather and Wiley, who appear.at the Grand theater, on the regular vaudeville ‘program, Friday only of ‘this week, offer a‘comedy singing and talking act of the sure fire type. Hen- ry M. Prather is a clever comedian of merit and originality, and his natural ‘wit and clever sayings are always the cause of much laughter. His songs are for laughing purposes only. Elizabeth 'Wiley Prather is an attrac- voice, and wears some stunning gownd that are creations of art.
