JAPANESE ARTISTS " PLEASE LARGE AUDIENCE The Third number of the Lyceum colirse, given at the High scho6l audi- ‘torium last evening, was largely at- tended, in spite of the prevalence of so much - sickness. - Mr. and Mrs. Michitaro Ongawa, Japanese enter- tainegs, gave a very fine program of readings, songs, and instrumental| numbers. They also gdve a number of characteristic Japanese dances, in Japanese costume, as well as a num- ber of folk songs. They performed in Japanese costume, exclusively, many beautiful gowns being donned by them. They played a number of dif- ferent Japanese musical instruments. The last~number of; the program was a two-act sketch, with thé cast _ the two actors, which was very good. At the close, an opportunity was given any one who wished to talk to the entertainers, ask amy questions, -and examine the many musical in- struments and pretty costumes.
