Mr. Si- menson is one of -the Bemidji naval militia boys and has fully recovered from his illness of last sumimer. On September 18 he was transferred from the U. S. S. Kansas to the U. S. S. Susquehanna, a transport ship, on which he is now a baker. . He re- ports all the Bemidji boys were well and feeling fine when he last saw them. Mr. Simenson is now on an 11-day furlough. Pieces of the shattered saw flew to all parts of the building, but no one was hurt. The mill is engaged in cutting air- plane spruce for the government.
