Koll, a live wire resident of Cass Lake was present and ad- dressed the organization on a pro- posed improved road between Cass Lake and Bemidji. Mr. Koll has been hard at work on the improve- ment and has received hearty co- operation. The Commercial club en- dorsed the proposition and the mem- bers signed a petition asking for a hearing. It would be of great bene- fit to the farmers along the road be- tween the two cities. W. Z. Robinson and E. H. Winter were appointed a committee to rep- resent the club in the matter. Rest Room Again. The matter of maintaining the rest room again came up and the sec- retary was instructed to offer Mrs. Thompson $25 per month and no more. The matter of securing a band di- rector was referred to the secretary of the band. Some minor communications of little interest were read and dis- posed of. The club went on record as favor- ing the “time conservation™ bill be- fore the national legislature. The Brainerd club did the same and pass- ed it along to Bemidii.
