Ford Winebrenner and Guy Wine- brenner of Toledo, Ohio, arrived in Bemidji last evening and are the guests of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. James Winebrenner, of Dewey avenue. They will also visit at the home of their sister, Mrs. Gol- die Mohler, and at the home of their father, Martin Winebrenner, until af- ter the holidays. They are both in the employ of the railroad. Misses Florence Levins, pianist and reader, of Crookston and Beth Evans, vocalist, of Bemidji, appeared in a splendid musical concert at the Meth- odist Episcopal church Tuesday eve- ning. Mr, Chis- holm was carrying a deer out of the woods when the hunters saw him and mistaking him for a deer, fired. His spinal cord was severed and he is paralyzed from the breast down. Mr. Chisholm is a brother of Mrs. P. J. Rusgell and Mrs. Fred Brinkman of this city. Among the big social affairs to be given in Bemidji this winter is a series of dances given by the United Commercial Travelers. The first of the series was given in the city hall last evening and was well attended, about forty couples being present. Burchard’s orchestra furnished ex- cellent music for the occasion.
