Your petitioners furtner represent that the construction of said proposed ditches as above described would be of public benefit and utility and is necessary for the purpose, that in sea- sons of high water, the surface water collected upon_the adjoining territory would have adequate means of being carrying off from the lands adjoining said proposed ditch, and would not re- main upon said lands doing a large amount of ~damage to lands, pubiic health and travel, the object and pur- pose of said proposed ditches being to provide additional _drainage to said territory and to prevent the flooding and damaging of the lands adjoining said proposed diteh in seasons of high water. Your petitioners rurther represent and request that if better results can be obtained or greater benefits will acerue to a greater part of the area affected by said proposed ditch, by a different Source, course or outlet or outlets or by eliminating portions thereof or extending portions thereof, that the engineer appointed herein be required to designate the same and that the court ‘establish the same as desig- nated by such engineer and that the said engineer designate and lay out such lateral ditches as are necessary and that the court establish the same. And your petitioners further pray that in order the order establishing said ditch it be ordered that the bonds for the said ditch be twenty-year honds and that the liens for the benefits be ordered paid in fifteen annual payments commencing five vears after the date of the order establishing said ditch.
