The prisoner is the same man who was arrested at Fort Frances some time ago on a charge of smuggling and who on his return to Grand Forks announced that he had - been. held at Fort Frances for nine days, charged with being a spy: The Grand Forks telegram stated that Goldstein had engaged a lawyer and was going to sue the Canadian gov- ernment officials for damages.
