Second Carload Shipped to St. Paul Market by Merchants Association Disposed of At Good Price. SEND ANOTHER ONE SOON Bemidji farmers will receive $1,060 for the cattle they sent to the St. Paul stock yards in the car of the Merchants association last Saturday. The animals brought the top price being paid for grades. Two oxen brought a total of $126 while the following prices _per hundred for the rest of the car were accepted; canners $3.25; cutters,$3.- 65 to $3.75; killers or beef cows, $4.75; bologna bulls, $4.80; hogs, $6.70, and hogs below hundred pounds in weight $6.25. These prices are considered very good in view of the low market and the farmers are much satisfied, as is Bueford M. Gile, the agriculturist, who accompanied the car to St. Paul and had charge of the sale. Mr. Gile announcesthat twenty head have already been listed for a car which will be sent forward a week from Saturday and all who wish to have stock included should so notify him at once. W. G. Schroe- der will accompany the car. This makes more than $2,000 in cash which has been brought to Be- midji during the last several weeks through the sale of grade cattle.
