This great “Trading Festival” has, of course, created considerable competition among the many stores, but this is all the better for those who buy, and it will mean unqualified bargains in every line of business. Never before in the history of this city have the merchants offered such wonderful values and such immense stocks from which to select. Under this plan, the shoppers who attend the sale may distribute their patronage among as many stores as they desire. Each store will issue refunding sheets to 5 per cent of every purchase, which will be paid in cash to the amount of your fare when presented at the office of the BEMIDJI PIONEER, which will act as clearing-house in refunding fares for all the stores. The only condition to receiving of the Railroad Fare is that the ag- gregate purchases reach a certain small total, which will, of course, vary for the various number of miles traveled. FARMERS INCLUDED AS WELL AS - TOWN PEOPLE Fares will be refunded to all persons who come from a distance equal to any of the surrounding towns, whether by team or rail, this will in- clude farmers as well as persons living in towns who drive to Bemidji to trade during this big sale, just as though they came by the M. & 1., So0o, Red Lake, or Great Northern. For instance, a person residing in Solway, or, farmers who live nearer that place than any other town from which fares are to be refunded, who drive to Bemidji to trade during the sale, will get the price of a railroad ticket, provided his purchases amount to the required sum. You can secure REFUND SHEE Sfrom‘any merchant co-operating, or cut the sheet-out of this-paper, and take it on your shopping trips to tfie stores who are in-on the big Co-operative Sale. Be sure to get one before you begin your purchases. 'Then present it to each store where you make a purchase so that the amount may be entered up- - on it. When you have finished shopping, bring it to the PIONEER OFFICE, where your fare will'be given you in cash, providing your purchases amount to the sum required, according to the above schedule. "By this method you will not have to buy everything from one store, or the full amount required ‘which’ entitles you to your fare back, ' from any certain merchant, bt you'can patronize as many stores as you like, and if your purchases amount to the required sum, fare will be refunded im cash-by presenting slip at the Pioneer office any time before leaving for home. ;
