Miss Ten Eyck went to her home at Quiring, in the even- ing. Martin Stene, while running and playing at the picnic on Friday, fell and cut a deep gash over his eye. He was taken to Blackduck where the druggist, in the absence of the doctors, attend to it. R. C. Shaw spent a few days at his home. Fish is plentiful in this vieinity now. . The town board met on Saturday, where sealed bids were received by them. Henry Plummer will do road work on the section line between Sections 10 and 15, while Paul Pel- tier will work on the line between Sections 3 and 4. Two loads of goods went into new store at Malcolm, out the roads are in such bad shape just now, that it is hard to get teams to stock up. Most everybody has been eating fish lately.
