To the people of Northern Minne- sota who have been fighting for their just representation for many years, the action of the house and senate in Fhhk khkkhkkh KAk kk Khkhk hokdokhkk dokkk passing a fair reapportionment bill is gratifying. While the measure as passed does not give a person in Bel- trami county the same representation as u person in one of the southern McCUAIG counties, the two are closer together . than before. 1t can be considered that a material step has been gained. To Beltrami county, the bill gives a representation which has long been denjed. Coupled with Koochiching, this county gets one senator and two representatives. Beltrami has something over 20,000 people and Koochiching less than half as much. But the two counties are facing the same development problems and Bel- trami could not be better joined with GENERAL MERCHANDISE Dry Goods, Shoes, Grocerles ¥ and Provisious. x * * Third Bt.
