The longer and shorter Catechisms of Westminster, along with the con- fession of faith of Westminster, the documents which contain the creed of the Church of Scotland, are ac- cepted by the Presbyterian church of the United States and of other Eng- lish-speaking lands. No party in the American Presbyterian church has disclaimed the Westminster stand- ards openly, although of course there pre some who do not follow them very closely, The Westminster catechisms are not to be supplanted by the inter- mediate catechism adopted by the Presbyterian general assembly at Louisville, Ky, during the week which ended May 26. AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITS FROM FIFTY COUNTIES 8ixty per cent of the counties of Minnesota will be represented by ex- hibits in the agricultural building at the Minnesota State Fair'this fall. This is the most remarkable show- ing ever made in Minnesota or in any other state. It will afford an opportu- nity for citizens and prospective citl zens to'learn the character of the sofl and the crop possibilities of any par- ticular section of the state in which they may be interested and of the state as a whole. In order to house these fifty exhibits it has been necessary to build a large addition to the agricultural building and even with this added room, it has been found necessary to do some very careful planning. The county exhibits will all be prop- erly taken care of, however, and each county will be given every opportu- nity to advertise its resources and to win the liberal prizes offered by the fair agsociation.
