McDonald was tender- ed a farewell party last evening by the members of the Eastern Star lodge at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Kreatz. The affair was in the na- ture of a surprise for Mrs. McDon- ald who leaves soon for a visit with relatives in the west. The house was beautifully decorated, roses and car- nations being used. About twenty- five guests enjoyed “500" until mid- night when dainty refreshments were served. The out of town guests pres- ent were Mrs. Fred LaFavar, of St. Paul, and Mrs. F. D. Stillings, of Brainerd. Mrs. McDonald was pre- sented with a beautiful Eastern Star pin.
