The Northern National Bank is in- spected by Government officials and its depositors are allowed 4 per cent interest. B. H. Courtney, of Grand Forks, construction man for the Northwest- ern Telephone company, was in the city yesterday in the interests of the company. E. A. Schuneider of Madison, Wis., returned to his home last evening af- ter spending several days in Bemidji. While here he purchased a farm in Buzzle township. Although quite warm these days you will find the Majestic theater about as cool as any place, and as for entertainment it is of the best. You will not be disappointed when you see the “Illumination” tonight. Miss Delia Ledoux of Little Falls, arrived in the city last evening and will be the geust of her sister, Mrs. L. Jewett, for a couple of weeks. From here Miss Ledoux will go to Hibbing where she will visit with two other sisters. Miss Nellie Knott and Messrs. Stanley Knott and Chas Gerlinger returned yesterday noon from Duluth where they had gone to attend the Christian Endeavor convention which was held there Friday and Saturday of last week.
