Another pleasing fea- ture was the debate, the subject of which was, “Resolved, that the coun-} try is a better place to bring up chil- dren than the city.” Those on the affirmative side were Miss Irene Berg- enon, Henry Plummer and Herman Thoms; on the negative side were Miss Helen South, Robert C. Shaw and Mrs. J. D. Bogart. The judges decided in favor of the ajrmative side. Those who attended from Blackduck were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. South, their son, Keith, and two friends.—Miss Helen South went to her home in Blackduck Wednesday night to spend her holidays.—Miss Nellie C.
