Entorad In the Postoffice at Bemid]l, Minnesots, as secon class matter. . SUBSCRIPTION---$5.00. PER YEARIN-ADVANGE GOOD WORDS FOR A. KAISER. The Crookston Daily Times, one of the strongest daily papers pub- lished in'the Ninth - Congressional «district,. says -of A. Kaiser’s :candi- dacy for state treasurer: “There are many things which make. Mr. Kaiser a.\most available candidate. In the first place, the northern part of the “state has no candidate for any of . the:state offices and the Ninth district isen- titled to recognition. “In the second place, the state treasurership has always been con- ceded to the German element of the Republican party, and a German has held it for a great many years. “In the third place, Mr. Kaiser isa man eminently well fitted for the important position of trust. He has had years of experience in the banking basiness and is recognized asa man of exceptional ability in his line. He is keen and far-sighted and at the same time is a man of unquestionable integrity and who has the most complete confidence of the bankers throughout the state and with all his business associates. No man in the state of Minnesota stands higher in the business world than Albert Kaiser, whose record is without a single blemish, and whose character is in every way above reproach. “And last, but not least, he would be a tower of strength to the ticket. He has influential relatives in the southern part of tbe state and very warm - personal friends throughout the entirc state who would rally to his support and the support of the entire ticket. 1In-the -Ninth and ad- joining districts, he would strengthen « the: ticket in a remarkable degree.” NO PAPER THURSDAY.. The newspapers and medical jour- nals have had ‘much to say relative to a famous millionaire’s offer of a million dollars for a -new stomach. This great multi-millionaire was too busy to worry about the condi- tion of hisstomach. He allowed his dyspepsia to run from bad to worse until in the end it became incurable. His - misfortune - should: serve as a warning to others.. Every one who suffers ‘with . dyspepsia for a-few years will give everything he owns for a new stomach, i Dyspepsia is caused by an abnor- mal state of the gastric juices. There is one element missing—Pep- sin. The absence of this destroys the function of the-gastric fluids. They lose their power to digest food. We are now able to supply the pep- sin ina form almost identical to that naturally created by the. system when in normal health, so that it re- stores to the gastric juices their - di- gestive power, and thus makes the stomach strong and :well. We want every one troubled with indigestion and dyspepsia to come to our store and obtain a box of Rexall Dyspepsia- Tablets.. They " contain Bismuth-Subnitrate and-Pepsin pre- pared by a process which .develops their greatest power to overcome di- gestive disturbance. Rexall Dyspepsia Tablets are very pleasant to take. - They soothe: the irritable, weak -stomach, strengthen and invigorate the digestive organs, relieve nausea and indigestion, pro- mote nutrition and bring about a feeling of comfort. If you give Rexall Dyspepsia Tab- lets a reasonable trial we will return your money if you are.not. satisfied with :the result. = Three - ‘sizes, 25 cents, 50 cents and $1.00. We, therefore, earnestly appeal to yonr charity in behalf of the sick poor. “We are daily called upon to care for patients who are entirely desti- tute of means, and have no friends, and ' the :result is a considerable financial strain upon our Institution, besides the dept on the building it- self;’and it requires a great effort forus:to keep paid the current expenses and the interest on the loan, 'with a Tittle hope of reducing the principal. “Anything in the line of groceries, eatables, bed-clothes, night-dresses, pight-shirts, as well as money, will be accepted with much gratitude. “Thanking you in advance for kind:- favors, and invoking God’s blessing upon you in our daily prayers, we remain, “Yours very respectfully, —"Sisters of St. Benedict. *“St. Anthony’s Hospital, Bemidji, Minn.” It is as hard to find 2 man ‘without gullt as a fish without a backbone.— Archytos. i FIVE VOLCANOES ARE ACTIVE People of Teneriffe Are Bacoming Ao customed to Eruptions. “Tenerifte, Nov. 28.—A fifth crater hag opened and the five voloanoes are throwing out great quantities of lava.
