Mr. Burke states that he will probably make Bemidji his head- quarters in the near future ow- ing to the large amount of busi- ness that is being secured by the company in this section. Postmaster O. M. Olson of Northome arrived in thecity this morning and today submitted to an operation for the removal of a wire paper fastener from his palate. Mr. Olson was working at the postoffice and had a num- ber of the fasteners in his mouth, when one of them fell into his throat and lodged on his palate. The accident happened ' three weeks ago but Mr. Olson has feltno evil effects as a result, ling.
