Itis better for the business interests of a town that a sacrtiice of some things be made in the interests of harmony rather than there should be “contiruzl wrangling. When two parties are continually fightirg each other, some third party gets the benefit. If everybody got exactly what they wanted the world would be done and the millenium begun. In order to live and prosper we must all make concession to the other fellow. In this season of good will to men it may be easier for us all to api)reciate these truths and to resolve to let them govern our action in the future. I As Others See Us. The price paid is a large one for a newspaper properity in a town the size of Bemidji, but the paper has been a paying proposition from the start and the future of Northern Minnesota with Be- midji as one of the principal business centers seems to war- rant the payment....—Brainerd Dispatch. Alvert Kaiser of .Bagley has purchased the Bewmidji Daily Pioneer and Editor Hitchcock will retire, after having demon- strated that it is possible to suc- cessfully publish a daly news- paper in a city the size of Bemidji |—and io make it fairly hum with enterprise and shine with bright- ness. The Pivneer was established in Be- midji about the time of county organization, and in point of age ante dates the News by about one year. To all such here is the news that there 48 a remedy that will heal and not hurt. It_was discovered fort; years ago by Dr. Pierce who searched Nature’s labor- atory—the earth, for the remedial agents so liberally provided therein. He took Lady’s Slipper_root, Black Cohosh root, Unicorn root, Blue Cohosh root, Golden Seal root, and by extracting, combining and preserving, without the use of alco- ‘hol, the glyceric extracts of these natural remedies he has given to the world Dr, PIERCE’S FAVORITE PRESCRIPTION, ‘which has to its credit the enviable and anparalleled record of more than a half- million of “cures in the last forty years. "Only those who have given Dr. Pierce's Favorite Prescription a trial can appreciate ‘what a boon it is to suffering women,” writes Miss Vinna Seamore, of 33 Elm St., Toronto, Ont. “For two years I suffered intensely from female weakness until life was a burden tome. I had distressing, bearing-down pains 80 I could scarcely stand up. Had_hot flashes, was very despondent., weak, and ut- terly wretched. My physician gave me treat- ments but without success.
