DEATH WAS ACCIDENTAL County Officials Do Not Be- lieve Nebish Homestead- er Was Murdered. NO BULLET HOLE FOUND IN BODY OF SEXTON. Remains Will Be Brought to Be- midii For a Complete Investigation. Coroner Marcum, Deputy Sheriff J. N. Bailey and Assistant; Couuty Attorney Pitkin returned last night from Nebish, where they made an investigation of the reported murder of Perry Sex- ton, who was found dead in his cabin six miles west of Nebish a few days ago. While the investigation was rot complete, the officials, from what they learned from examining the body and premises in the vicinity of the cabin, are. led to believe that the death of the old man was purely accidental. The body was found in the cabin, but the only wound upon the body was an ebrasion over the lefteye. Frem all appear- ances, Sexton bled to death after having accidentally received a cut oyer the eye asa result of falling upon a grub hoe. Itis believed that the old man was! hoeing in the garden a short dis- .tance from the cabin and fell up- on the hoe he was using, that afterwards he attempted to reach the cabin and was successful but thac he bled to death in the cabin the examination showing that an artery bad been severed. 1t was imgossible to take the body to this city yesterday, but the remuins will arrive here this evening. Coroner Marcum will hold an autopsy over the body and providing any suspicious cir cumstances are developed an in- quest will be held. The Holy City.
