The funeral over the remains of Miss Pearl Flint, who died at the home of her sister, Mrs. C, Crone, Sunday morning, was held this afternoon from the home of Mr, and Mrs. ‘Crone at 2 o’clock. The funeral sermon was rendered by Rev. T'homas! Broomfield of the First Baptist church. The remains were in- terred in Greenwood cemetary, where services were conducted by the local lodge of Modern Samaritans, of which the young lady wasa member, A large funeral cortege escorted the body to the grave, and members of the Samaritan lodge attended in 2 body wearing the appropriate emblems of the order. Many beautiful floral designs decorat- ed the casket, among which was a wreath given by the Samaritan lodge. Miss Flint was a very popular and estimable young lady in the city and her untimely death will be generally mourned by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Bulletin Board at M. & I.
