ELSEWHERE in this issue the Pioneer presents an abstract of the annual schoel report as read at the annual meeting. The re- port shows that the finances of the district are in good condition there being over $8,000 cash on hand after paying all the ex- penses of the year, amounting to $13,000, while over $1,500 of old orders and debts for which orders had not issued were taken up. The report indicates that the district is on a sound footing and that it will be wb’e to wake the beginnings of a sinking fund to take care of all the bond- <d indebtedness of the district in due time.
