County Health Officer Blakes- lee corrects a statement in the Pioneer last night to the effect| that he had been instructed by the board of county commis. sioners to constructa building near his home to be used as a detention hospital. The doctor says that building is already built and that he gives it to the county free of charge for use as a detention hospital. ~ Wheelock Selis Half Interest. Employment Agent A, T. Wheelock has disposed of a half interest in his employment office to Richard Hawkes, formerly with the McDonald employment office, and Mr. Hawkes today as- sociated himself with Mr. Wheel- ock in the business. The office of the new firm will be removed from the present stand at the rear of Miles block to the build- ing on Beltrami avenue formerly occupied by the Great Northern express office. Messrs. Professor Hyde, conductor of the summer school, will lecture this evening on Sir Walter Scott at the court house at 8:30 o’clock. Professor Hyde is a literary critic and a historian of repute as well as a forceful speaker and the lecture should attract a large attendance.
