No. The Chiropractic and the Osteopath both aim to put in place that which is out of place, to right that which is wrong; but the Path- ology Diagnosis, Prognosis and Movements are entirely different. One of my patients, Mr. W. A. Casler, has taken.both Chiropractic and Osteopoth treatments. The Chiropractic i- ten times more direet in the adjustments and the results getwting health ten times more thor- ough in one tenth of the time than an Osteopath would. THE Northwestern editors of Minnesota will take * their out- ing at Winnipeg, Manitooa this year: taking advantage of the fact that Winnipeg is about to hold its big fair and exposition. The trip will be taken over the new Soo line to Winnipeg and there will be stops at Alexandria and Detroit with three days at Winnipeg. These annual trips taken by the editors of the state are widely educative. As a resuly of this one Minnesota summer resorts will be most liberally advertised and the service which the Sco renders will be very little for the advertising it will get. The edi tors will do Winnipeg justice, also, but Minnesota editors are intensely loyal and when they return to their homes and take up the quill once more their fore- most thought will be to set forth the notable advantages which they have observed in their own state. The state editoral excur- sion will be held later in the year and will prclably be to some southern point. The Hav Crop. NORTH central Minnesotais greatly interested in the hay crop. It produces thousands of tons each year and it consumes | tens of thousands. When we consider thai the excessive rairs of the spring and summer and {thé flooding of the' low lands all along the Mississippi and its tributary streams we shall real ize that the damage done will V| cost this country a great deal of money before another season, The July flood along the Missis-| sippi, it is claimed, will make it impossible to harvest the hay \icrop in a large percentage of the meadows. Good first c1¢ps have already been taken in some Ic cali- ties but the second crop threa- tens to be far below the average. It is claimed with show of reason that the comparative scarcity of hay throughout this section will materially affect the price of all dairy products the coming win- \ | ter and higher prices are confi- dently looked for. Why Not Everybody? THE teachers in the public schools of the United States think that if Mr, Caruegie can give ten millions to the college professors he ought to provide, also, a pension for their old age. Aud this leads to the inquiry, why should not everybody be pensioned? Does not the world owe everybody a should it not ensure everybody a comfortable living when old age is reached and man and woman are no longer able to win their bread by the sweat of the brow? Probably we shall be a good deal nearer the millinium than we are now when that day dawns but it is a noble ideal for those who give their best efforts for econo- mic reform to have in mind. When the day arrives there will be no Carnegies, no Rockefellers, living and It 1s No longer any use to de- clare that John Phipps is John “And | l_,‘"“-(_éri«v nif [ am Jobn R‘nkefellers‘ tather, I don’. want any of his woney.
